Course Description:
This course will cover the new health care revisions of the 2010 HealthCare Law known as (PPACA) along with the responsibilities of employers and health care providers. We will explore Grandfathered plan changes, Medical Loss Ratio�s, HealthCare Exchanges, FLSA requirements, adoption assistance tax exclusions, and the elimination of pre-existing health condition regulations. New screening procedures for decreasing insurance fraud and waste, and no co-pay preventative care will be covered. We will also address higher employee premium coverage for businesses with fewer than two employees, as well as the age limit increase to 27 for children under their parents� health insurance coverage plans. |
