Course Description

Employee Benefit professionals and those dealing with small businesses are often needed to assist in interpreting Labor Law issues. As a professional in the risk management field you’ll gain a better understanding of these issues as well as hear case histories which have set precedents in the law. This course will detail regulations such as Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, American with Disabilities Act and finish up our discussion with COBRA, the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act.
